GUIDE AND INFORMATION TO AUTHORS:

Scope of the Journal: All aspects of life related research in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology,  Limnology, Oceanography, Fisheries, Aquaculture, Water quality, Sanitation, Medicine, Pharmacy, General Agriculture, Biotechnology, etc. Research articles are invited for publication from scholars world-wide and authors should note and observe the following guidelines/information:

 

a.        Original manuscripts should be sent by e-mail only to the following web site address: www.bioresearch__international@Yahoo.com with Key words and an abstract of not more than 250 words.

b.        The manuscript of the article should be electronically typewritten, double space on A4 size with margin on sides.

c.        The full text of the paper should be in English and  not be more than 12 pages in length including references.

d.        There should be title page containing title, name(s), degree(s), status and affiliation(s) of the author(s).

e.        All manuscripts are reviewed by three references/assessors and at least one member of the editorial board f.         Page and off print charges are communicated to authors along    with notification of status of their papers for publication.

g.        The written style should be clear and lucid. Emphasis is placed on readability, high scholarly standards and works that have been original, topical and innovative.

h.        Research works submitted are published on the understanding that they have not been earlier published.

i.          Manuscript once collected cannot be published else where without permission.

j.         More than two papers by the same author(s) may not be accepted for publication in any one edition.

k.        While single authorship is accepted, perineum is placed on co-authored and collaborative research work.

l.          Manuscripts that are interdisciplinary in nature are encouraged.

m.      Credit is given to local cultural examples and inference.

n.        Review articles on previous works and books are welcomed for publication at the discretion of the editorial board as space and quality of presentation permit.

o.        All works cited in the text should be listed under reference in alphabetical order, with hanging indentation.

p.        The reference for article should include name(s), initial(s) of author(s), year, title of article, journal name, volume, number, first and last page of reference article. And for books, reference should include name(s) and initial(s) of author(s), year, title (italicized), place: and name of the publisher.

Follow the name(s) with date in the text. Example- Hassan (1990) for single author; Hassan and Tahir (2005) for double author; Bissa et al. (2009) for multiple authors. References cited must be listed in alphabetical order with hanging indentation. References in two or more papers published in the same year by the same author should be distinguished by appending alphabet to the year of bublication, e.g. Riskuwa (2009a, 2009b). All references cited in the text must be listed under the section “References” as shown below:

        q.        S.I. Units should be employed where applicable.

r.     Table and figure should be numbered sequentially with captions/headings preferable on separate page at the end of the text.

s.     Illustration/drawings should be clear and suitable reproduction without further preparation.

t.      A limited number of note and legends may be included where they are deemed very necessary.

u.    Photographs where applicable should be in the form of large, and comprehendible.

v.    The Webster international recognized abbreviations should be used. The first time abbreviation is used the full name most be given.

w.      The editorial board assesses all manuscript anonymously without discrimination against any person with reference to age, colour, creed, origin, belief, gender, etc.

x.    A pre-publication gully proof of all manuscript that pass final editorial screening are prepared for authors’ verification (if required). Unaccepted manuscripts are not returned to the author(s).

y.    The editorial board reserves the right to clarify or condense manuscript where it is unavoidable so as to meet its standard/specifications, such decision is final.

z.     The author(s) of manuscript(s) published in the journal are entitled to receive the e-copy of a clear off print of their article(s).
